Soils

Within the Production module is the Soils, which allows to manage the soils of the application.

You can perform the process of creating and importing soils massively from the ForecastApp application by following the steps of the following link Soil data

What does this module allow you to do?

The Soils module allows you to create new soils, edit, view details, set thresholds and delete.

Note

To delete data in this module it must be logical deletion. (Logical deletions are those where the result is never actually deleted)

How to access to the soils module?

To access to the soils module, you must go to the top menu and select the Production option and in the submenu that is displayed you must select Soils.

Functionalities

Create soils

  1. To create soils you must select below the title Soils, the option New record.

  2. You must complete all the fields

  3. To finish you must press the Save button

Country

you must select the country to which the soil will be associated.

Soil Name

is the name of the soil.

Crop

you must select the crop to which the soil will be associated.

Order

establishes the way to list these, the higher the number, the more will be listed first.

Note

This option is available for users who have the roles of ADMIN and IMPROVER.

Edit soils

  1. To edit soils you must select in the last column, the option Edit.

  2. A new view will be displayed, where you can edit the soil fields.

  3. To finish you must press the Save button.

Soil details

  1. To view soil details you must select in the last column, the option Details.

  2. A new view will appear, in which you can view the soil details.

Delete soils

  1. To delete one soil you must select in the last column, the option Delete.

  2. A new view will appear, in which you can delete the soil.

  3. To finish you must press the Delete button

Soil thresholds

  1. To configure the minimum and maximum parameters of the soil threshold, you must select in the last column, the option Threshold.

  2. A new view will appear, in which allows configure the parameters.

  3. In the lower part of the view the currently available configurations are displayed. The configuration can be deleted by clicking on the delete button.

  4. To finish you must press the Save button
